About Me
Welcome! 🌟
I'm a Computer Engineer based in Ontario. Over the past year, I completed a 16-month Professional Experience Year as a Software Developer at AMD. Now, I'm back at the University of Toronto to finish my Bachelor's in Computer Engineering with a minor in Music Performance.
Interests:
I am passionate about software development and its role in creating innovative tools, applications, and systems that impact millions, empower businesses, and address global challenges.
Core Interests: Machine Learning, Full Stack, and Embedded Systems Development
Music's ability to unite people, evoke memories, serve as a universal language, and offer a form of creative expression (similar to coding) is something I deeply appreciate.
Core Interests: Machine Learning, Full Stack, and Embedded Systems Development

Experiences
Here are my working and volunteering experiences dating back to the start of university.
- •Developed efficient diagnostics software in modern C++, making use of STL algorithms, and leveraging compile time computations
- •Participated in Company wide technology showcase and presented a solution for cross testing platform communication
- •Working on the next-generation graphic card's Power Management firmware diagnostics tests
- •Developing diagnostic tests to bring up and validate ASIC features on both pre-silicon environments (FPGA and SW emulation) and post-silicon systems (HW silicon and platform)
- •Driving improvements to framework and test architectures to improve Hardware coverage, debuggability, and quality
- •Providing Diagnostics support to various Engineering Teams to help resolve ASIC, board, and firmware issues
- •Worked on research project in Artificial Human Speech Synthesis
- •Created MATLAB/SIMULINK models of voiced and unvoiced speech models using Mathematical Glottal Flow Models
- •Conducted experiments on producing speech sounds using transducer
- •Compared the sound quality of different speech sounds depending on different GFM waveform
- •Built, tested, and debugged transducer circuit
- •Gained valuable leadership experiences and communication skills
- •Worked as an instructor for the whole duration of summer and taught children from ages 3 to 13 to bike from ground up (including proper safety procedures and hand signals during road rides)
- •Went on road and trail rides; led teams of 4 up to 8 members as the lead instructor
Projects
Below are some of my past engineering projects that I have worked on in school as well as in my own time.
AirPlay Instruments
AirPlay Instruments is a computer-vision-powered HCI tool that enhances musical accessibility and expressiveness by using radar technology and MIDI interfaces, enabling musicians, producers, and beginners to input music effortlessly without expensive production tools.
Dog Breed Classifier
A Dog Breed Classifier trained on Stanford Dogs Dataset using a ResNet inspired architecture -- RizzNet_v2
Metronerm
A command-line metronome application built in C++ using the libao library for audio output. This tool is designed for musicians and performers who need a reliable, lightweight metronome to keep time during practice.
Music Improvisation Unit
The Melody Improvisation Unit is a project that is inspired by a musician's ability to improvise over a set of chords. It attempts to simulate a musician's musical intuitions when creating a line of melody. MIU is a project that affords melody extemporization through the application of Fast Fourier Transforms (FFTs), digital signal processing (DSP) theories, and melody generation algorithms.
Piano Tiles
This simple Piano Tiles Game is written in C. The game can be loaded up on a DE1-SOC board that is connected to a VGA display to be played using the push buttons. The score a player has is displayed via the HEX display. The Health bar status is displayed on the LED strip.
ECE345: Data Structure and Algorithms Labs
Labs include Sorting Algorithms, Graphs, Hashing, and Quantum Circuits.
ECE344: Operating Systems Labs
Labs include Threads Management, Webserver, Shell Command Piping, and Hashmap Implementation.
ECE462: Multimedia Systems Labs
Labs include Image Processing using Matlab, DCT (Discrete Cosine Transformation), Haar Transformation, Bit Plane Encoding, and Motion Compensation.
